Wow! This is the second novel in the Defend and Protect series and it was outstanding! Romance, bullets, kidnapping, torture, grenades, extortion – it is all there! The only question is who is behind all the problems Ivy Collins is having and what do they want? There are so many twists and turns and incredibly fast action that this novel really reminded me of a roller coaster. I just could not put it down! As far as the faith element, the characters rely on God and go to church. At one point Ivy prays and “The Lord did not answer audibly. She knew he heard her, but she didn’t feel better.” So, the faith element is present, but not preachy. I highly recommend this book as an amazing suspenseful novel! I received a copy of this book from the publisher. I am freely writing a review – all thoughts and opinions are my own.
